From this year, National Testing agency (NTA) conducts the NEET 2019 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). It was previously held by CBSE every year. NTA is organizing NEET 2019 exam for admissions to undergraduate medical programmes such as MBBS, BDS and Ayush courses offered by Indian Medical Colleges.
Although NTA is conducting NEET 2019 exam for UG courses, but there is no changes in curriculum and pattern of the examination. This year NEET 2019 will take place through pen and paper mode only. NEET 2019 Complete Details

As per the most recent information regarding NEET 2019, the candidates must know that this year also exam will be conducted one time only. To relieve the undue pressure from students, NTA decided to organize this exam in May 2019 as usual.  NTA will conduct NEET 2019 in offline mode.  The table comprises of the tentative schedule for NTA NEET 2019.

Changes brought up by NTA in NEET 2019
The NTA will conduct NEET 2019 from now onwards. NEET is conducted for the admissions to Medical related courses all over in India. There were supposed to be several changes made by NTA with respect to this exam. However now all changes have been rolled back. Now final details are as follows:
  • The exam will be conducted one time in 2019 in pen and paper mode and not online or twice.
  • It will help the students to relieve their undue pressure of multiple exams.
  • Exam Pattern of the examination is not changed.
  • The application process will also be online.

NEET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must know the eligibility specified by NTA and check if they are eligible to apply for the test or not. The eligibility criteria for NEET 2019 are mentioned below.
  • Candidates should be Indian National / Non-Resident (NRIs) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCIs) / Persons with Indian Origin (PIOs) and Foreign Nationals are eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.
Academic Qualifications: 
  • The Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually.
  • The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates belonging to SC, ST or OBC, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40% marks instead of 50% marks for Unreserved Candidates.
  • The candidates should have passed class 12th or its equivalent examination, from any recognized board.
Age Limits:
The eligibility conditions regarding age limit is revised as under:

Note: In view of the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s Order in SLP (C) No(s). 14320/2018 and in other connected matters, dated 29th November, 2018, the petitioners / candidates who are 25 years of age and above shall be entitled to apply and appear in the NEET (UG)-2019 examination provisionally subject to final outcome of these matters.

Application Form

Application process for NEET 2019 is over now. The application process was held through online mode only. The Application form for NEET 2019 was available on the official website. Candidates can apply for the same by filling in the mandatory fields mentioned in the form.  An applicant must read eligibility criteria thoroughly as only eligible candidates can apply for the NEET 2019. Any invalid detail can lead to the rejection of your candidature. Candidates are advised to take out the printed copy of the payment receipt of the fee they paid for the application.
Application Fee
  • For General/OBC candidates – Rs. 1400/-
  • For SC/ST/PH candidates – Rs. 750/-
  • Transgender – Rs. 750/-
The application fee must be paid through online mode only, i.e. Debit/Credit card, UPI or E-Wallet. The application fee is non-refundable.

Admit Card

The candidates who have successfully applied for the NEET 2019, only those will be able to generate the Admit Card for NEET 2019. The Admit Card will be released online on the official website. Candidates can download the Admit Card from the website by entering their Application Number and Date of Birth. Admit Card is a mandatory document that every candidate must carry at the time of examination. Any candidate who will fail to bring the Admit Card will be prohibited to take the NEET 2019 examination. It is advised to take out the colored photostat of the Admit Card.

Exam Pattern

As per the previous year, the CBSE has designed an Exam Pattern for NEET. This year the pattern of examination will remain same even though NTA will conduct the NEET 2019. The Exam pattern mentioned below is according to the NEET 2018, as soon as we get the changes in exam pattern and marking scheme we will surely update it to this page.
  • Mode of the examination will be pen and paper based.
  • Type of question paper: Objective type (MCQ)
  • Duration: The duration of exam will be of 3 hours.
  • Number of questions: In total 180 questions

Marking Scheme
  • For every correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
  • Negative marking will be there, so for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
  • If any question is unanswered, neither will be awarded nor will be deducted.

Syllabus

The syllabus for NEET 2019 will help you to score well in the examination. It covers all the important topic from the point of view of the exam. If you prepare according to the curriculum designed by the conducting body then chances will be higher in order to clear the examination.
The syllabus mentioned below is according to the CBSE if there will be any changes made by NTA in the syllabus we will surely update it here.
Physics: Physical world and measurement, Laws of Motion, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Properties of Bulk Matter, Behaviour of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Electrostatics, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Electromagnetic Waves, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Electronic Devices.
Chemistry:  Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Equilibrium, Hydrogen, p-Block Elements, Hydrocarbons, Solid State, Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, p-Block Elements, Coordination Compounds, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Organic Compounds Containing Nitrogen.
Biology (Botany + Zoology): Diversity in Living World, Cell Structure and Function, Human Physiology, Structural Organization in Animals and Plants, Plant Physiology, Reproduction, Biology and Human Welfare, Ecology and Environment, Genetics and Evolution, Biotechnology and Its Applications.

Answer Key

The candidates can download NEET 2019 Answer Key and use it to get an estimated idea of their scores. The Answer Key is provided to the candidates on the official website. It will be in a pdf format. NEET 2019 Answer Key will be consist of the set-wise answers to the questions. This year NTA will publish the Answer Key for NEET 2019. The Answer Key is the helpful source to predict the performance of a candidate. Candidates can also challenge the Answer Key, but for that, they have to pay Rs.1000/- per Answer Key and that will be non-refundable. This process of revaluation will also take place via online mode. When the Answer Key will be available it will be updated on this page.

Result

The NTA will declare the Result for NEET 2019 on the official website. Candidates who have appeared for the exams only they would be able to check their Result. To check the Result, candidates must log in to the website by entering their Roll number as ID and Date of Birth as password and then they can view or download the Result. The Result will show the marks obtained and the Rank achieved by the candidate in NEET 2019. The Rank card will comprise of All India Rank, State Rank and Category-wise Rank of the candidates. If NTA will make any changes with respect to the Result of NEET 2019, those changes will be updated on this page.

Counseling

The candidates who will be shortlisted for the further admission process only they will be called in the counseling round. This year MCC will organize the counseling process for AIQ. The NEET 2019 Result will declare the list of candidates and on that basis, the candidates will be called for the counseling round. In the counseling round, the candidate must submit their choices on time. The candidate must bring the necessary documents required at the time of counseling. After counseling and getting placed to the institute candidates can pay the admission fee on the same day.
